Fastnbulbous There's been a particularly heavy strain of apocalyptic post-punk that I've been enjoying via Finland's Beastmilk (now called Grave Pleasures), Philly's Dark Blue, and Denmark's Iceage and Lower. Sheets of noise propelled along by dark pounding bass, tribal drumming and guitars that aren’t afraid of feedback, all topped off with the doom-like vocals of prime-time gloom.
